WHERE DO PHOTOGRAPHY SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?
Little Bow Chic Photography sessions are strictly on-location sessions.  Amanda will utilize any location with ample natural light for your session.  The most popular choice among clients is your own home, which creates a comfortable,  fun, and relaxed environment for your children resulting in unique lifestyle themed portraits.  Sessions may also take place at local parks or other venues within Western NY. 

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY NEWBORN SESSION?
Your newborn session should be tentatively scheduled while you are still pregnant to ensure availability in Amanda's schedule. The session should take place within the first 10 days of your precious baby’s new life.  Although there is no way of knowing if your newborn will sleep soundly for a two to three hour newborn session, having your newborn photographed as early as possible is important for a few reasons.  The “newer” your baby is, the sleepier she will be allowing Amanda to curl and pose your newborn with ease.  Baby acne also commonly begins to show around two weeks.

WHAT SHOULD OUR CHILD WEAR?
Babies under 6 months of age are best photographed in little to no clothing.  If you would like to keep a diaper on for your baby, Amanda highly suggests avoiding disposable diapers with big patterns.  Instead consider using a diaper cover or cloth diaper.  If you would like to have clothes on your baby, a simple onesie works best.

For older babies and children simple works best as well.  Amanda suggests a simple shirt with jeans or khakis or simple dresses for girls.  Shoes & socks will be a distraction in your portraits so please consider bare feet, especially if your session will be taking place in your home. Don’t be afraid to use bold colors and fun outfits for your session for a trendier look in your portraits.  Bold patterns, logos and cartoon characters should always be avoided.  Outfit changes are ok, but be careful with younger children. Changing outfits too often may make them upset and bring our session to an end. 

WHEN WILL WE BE ABLE TO VIEW THE IMAGES FROM OUR SESSION?
Approximately 1 week after your session you will receive an email that your gallery is ready to be viewed.  Amanda will provide all edited images to you.

WHAT DOES MY SESSION FEE INCLUDE?
Your Session with Little Bow Chic Photography includes the photographer Amanda Serio's time & talent, your on location session, full rights to your session's edited images to print and use as you wish.  This fee is non-refundable.

DO YOU OFFER RETOUCHING SERVICES?
Of course!  Are you worried about your toddler's fall the morning of your session and the infamous bruise right in the middle of his forehead?  Please do not cancel your session!  Basic retouching for bumps, bruises and scrapes are all included in the current fees.

DO YOU OFFER BOTH COLOR & BLACK AND WHITE PORTRAITS?
Absolutely! You may see one image in both color & black and white, or you may see just one option.  It is these circumstances that the photographer has decided which style portrait is artistically better and best suited for showing to the family.
